Mpox Resources for Nurses

Prior to the May 2022 outbreak, mpox was endemic in central and west Africa. Mpox is an orthopoxvirus and is a close relative of smallpox. The smallpox vaccine may prevent or shorten the course of mpox; considerations for vaccination can be found here.
