Nebraska CE Requirements for License Renewal
As a nurse in the state of Nebraska, you are required to earn continuing education to renew your active license. All of our CE activities are accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Please ensure that any activity meets the requirements of your state board of nursing.
Renewal Requirements
RN
- Every two years
- 20 hours of continuing education
- No more than 4 hours may be from CPR or BLS
LPN
- Every two years
- 20 hours of continuing education
- No more than 4 hours may be from CPR or BLS
Advanced Practice
- If prescriber with DEA license
- 3 hours in opiate prescribing for 2020-2028 renewals
- 0.5 CH must cover the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program
